Footballer Komar Accuses Milei's Government of Dictatorship Crimes Denial

Buenos Aires, March 19 (NA) – Defender Juan Cruz Komar once again questioned the government of Javier Milei, labeling it as 'negationist' due to its stance on the crimes of the last dictatorship, on the eve of the National Day for Memory, Truth and Justice. The Rosario Central player referred to the identification of bodies at La Perla and expressed his concern: 'It's very tough, very difficult.' Furthermore, Komar drew a parallel with the 90s and the laws of due obedience and full stop, recalling, as reported by the Argentine News Agency (NA), that human rights organizations were still fighting to advance in the trials. 'There was a feeling that it no longer mattered. I see a similarity with this moment, fueled by a negationist government,' affirmed Komar. Komar also rejected those who relativize the crimes: 'It hurts me a lot that there are people who support that people were tortured, killed, babies were kidnapped or people were thrown into the sea.'
